In this activity we did an investigation about drought because we considered that its the biggest problem in our city, and it´s for us an important thing about the environment, and climate change, so that he asked some question about it.

We decided talk about this because in Dr Arroyo Nuevo leon is the principal problem.

What is drought?

Period of time (months-years) during which a land area suffers from lack of rain.

Why droughts occur?

Droughts have affected every continent and have been present throughout the history of mankind. Many of these phenomena occur as a result of climate change of nature, most of them possibly associated with the action of people.

Droughts cause serious damage to the soil, crops, animals and even people, causing them to die sometimes.

What can we do to prevent drought?

We can set our drought Prevention Plan, where conservation programs designed to protect forests and watersheds located in them are included. You should avoid any chemical contamination of water in the headwaters of the rivers or in the course thereof. We must realize in water use by rationalizing use and use this valuable resource in the most appropriate manner. Also, in our gardens, we plant vegetables that require minimal maintenance and little watering

In conclusion the pollution is the principal cause because we´re used to using our resources, and always day for day we´re used to wasting water and we don´t think what will be pass in the future we won’t see the our situation, Unless we change our habits and save the water like our ancestors used to do, if we continue this way the drought and other weather problems will be pass, we have to be worried about it, because it is our house and we have to care.
