ACTIVITY GRAMMAR AND SPELLING

1) Open the file “A5 Spelling” from your usb.

2) Correct some of the errors detected by automatic spell check by right-clicking the underlined word.

3) Go to the Review tab to manually run a spell check and correct the remaining errors.

4) Save the file as “A5 Spelling Name Lastname”

ACTIVITY LISTS

1) Open the file “A7 Lists” from your USB.

2) Change a bulleted list to a numbered list on Slide 4.

3) Change the color of the numbered list.

4) Change another list to a different bullet style on Slide 3.

5) Change the bullet color.

6) Change the bullet to a symbol.

7) Save the file as “A7 Lists Name Lastname”

ACTIVITY INDENTS

1. Open the file A8 Indents.

2. Add an indent to the top paragraph on Slide 2.

3. Indent some of the lines in the list on Slide 3.

4. Show the Ruler.

6. Change the line spacing to 3.0 in Slide 4.

7. Save the file as A8 Indents Name Lastname.

ACTIVITY THEMES

1. Open the file A9 Themes from the USB.

2. Apply the Adjacency Theme Colors.

3. Create a new theme color and name it.

4. Create a new theme font and name it.

5. Change the background style of all the file.

6. Save the file as A9 Themes Name Lastname.

ACTIVITY PICTURES

1. Open the file A9 Pictures.

2. Resize the image on Slide 6 (make it bigger).

3. Remove the background from the image.

4. Crop the image on Slide 3 (should only be showing the man in the picture).

5. Correct the image in slide 2, make it look brighter; and change the color tone (until it looks with yellow background) in the image of slide 4.

6. Add an artistic effect Glow Edges on the image in slide 5.

8. Save the presentation as A10 Pictures Name Lastname  in your USB.

ACTIVITY PICTURES (BACKGROUND REMOVAL PRACTICE)

1) In a new PowerPoint presentation paste the poster of a movie, and 4 still images of the movie in each slide (there should be 3 different movies)

2) Remove the background of all the images (15 in total counting the posters)

3) Save the file as “Picture Practice”

ACTIVITY CARTOON

1) Create a PowerPoint presentation and make it look like a cartoon where you see the change from sun rise to sun set, and the moon at night.

 Use as many slides as you need, remember to move the objects little by little in each slide to show a better effect.

2) Save the file as “Cartoon“

ACTIVITY SHADOWS

1) Open PowerPoint and change the background of the first slide to a picture of a mountain.

2) Insert the clipart of an eagle, remove the background, add a shadow, add a motion animation and change the speed.

3) Insert another slide and follow the same steps, only this time you can use any landscape picture as background, and any object you want.(remove background, add shadow and motion animation)

4) Insert a new slide, this time the background should be the picture of an old house, and insert a moving object.

5) Save the file as “Shadows”

ACTIVITY FOOD PYRAMID

1) Create a PowerPoint presentation about the Food Pyramid, in the first slide insert the picture of the food pyramid.

2) In each slide insert the name of each group and change the background color according to the group, also insert 10 images of examples of food and remove the background.

3) Insert the names of each of the examples and finally add animations and transitions of your choice in all slides.
