Sofía Castro Araujo

I was a beautiful baby; I was born in September 20 of 2000 in the hospital of Navolato, Sinaloa.

My mom (Claudia) and my dad (Tonatiuh) got married in 1998, and then 2 years later, my mom got pregnant of her first child: me.

When I born, my parents doesn’t had a home for us to live, so we began to live in my grandfather’s house, for one year my parents searched a home for us to live, and when they finally found one house in the Ejidal, in Navolato, but it was a very small house.

One year later, my parents and I left Navolato. We went to Tijuana, there we live in a little apartment, but my parents didn’t had much money, so we stood only a few months, and they gave up in Tijuana.

When we were in Navolato, my parents bought a house in the Obrera, a colony, and 3 years later my mom got pregnant of my first brother, his name was Emilio, and two years next my mom had my second brother, his name was Max, at the began I didn’t liked the idea of had two brothers, but I quit that idea of my mind, and I started loving them so much.

I went to the Kinder Garden Dif, and I remember that I was in the classroom purple, with my best friend Hilary, but in that moment I didn’t knew that she would be so important in my life, as she is now.

When I became a little more old, like I was 6 years old I was in Benito Juarez, a primary school, in that school I was again with Hilary, and we meet two girls, they were called Michelle and Johana, we loved they so much, so they and I, and Hilary of course, stared to were best friends. A couple of years later we grew up, so we had to quit the primary school and move on to the high school. I was so scary of lost my friends, but we paid to were in the same classroom. I meet the rest of my friends, because they were in the same classroom, they were called Fernanda, Andrea and Valeria; they became so important to me. We built a very strong relationship; they were like sisters to me.

Now I go to the UAS, a high school. I still feel the same love that I had to my friends and I think that it’s growing up every day. I love my brothers too; they are a such important part of my life, as much as my fathers are.
