As I was searching for an article to cover this weeks discussion assignment, I came across with this text of an internal email from Steve Ballmer Microsoft chief executive officer, addressing changes to the employees regarding the senior leadership team within the company.

In his email, he addresses the realignment of the company that will enable Microsoft innovation at greater speed, efficiency and capability in this fast changing world. He emphasizes the importance of executing better on their strategy to deliver their products, services to the people who values Microsoft business products. He also mentions a big vision that has been impacting the world collectively, due to the dynamic changes. In this communication Steve stresses the importance of one strategy rather than multiple strategies.

In this effort he wants to align by influencing the different teams and their leader s to share the same vision as his. With this, he wants to disrupt the old habits and wants to change the behaviors that have broken or spread in different directions. Thus, using one strategy he wants everyone to work towards the same goals with the implementations of this initiative. As he establish cross functional teams with better performance, creating multifunctional teams by improving the organizational communication.
