MICROCREDITO: cada entidad vigilada deberá clasificar como microcrédito el conjunto de operaciones activas de créditos otorgadas a microempresas cuyo saldo de endeudamiento con la respectiva entidad no supere 25 salarios mensuales vigentes; por microempresa se entiende toda unidad explotación económica realizadas por personas natural o jurídica. En actividades empresariales, agropecuarias, industriales, comerciales o de servicios; rural o urbana cuya planta de personal no supera 10 trabajadores y sus servicios totales sean inferior a 501 salarios mínimos mensuales vigentes.
