Globalization of Colombia

Globalization is causing an obsessive desire for identity that will cause many clashes. Our heads are being globalized, but our hearts are located. Since the beginning of the twentieth century in the world and in our country, have been developing a range of social, cultural, economic and political product of different eras, events, and global crises, regional and national, that have affected the way of life of individuals, society and the state, all this to get to the phenomenon of globalization. This is why we intend to account for the insertion process of globalization and the transformations that have been generated in Colombia.

To refer to the phenomenon of globalization in Colombia, it must be clarified that this is a developing country and therefore does not have enough support from scientific and technological progress, but instead has had a conflict during more than five decades, with various economic crises and deterioration of society by the lack of basic needs, all this has become an obstacle and often a pretext to stagnate and not progress in this field.

The real success of globalization will be determined to the extent that it allows each person to enjoy the commodities of food and housing, education and employment, peace and social progress, economic development and justice.

Globalization is a double point of departure, because on one hand it provides many opportunities by the new technologies and development that follows it. right now but if you opt to go global, would be an option not recommended because we'd be in total disparity with other external economies, in the sense of our national technological advances compared to other economies. The native Colombian culture abroad, and would accomplish show some competitiveness against something as large as globalization.
