El “present perfect continuous” se forma de la siguiente manera: has/have + been + present participle.

She has been visiting the museum for two hours.

They have been playing cards for the last 30 minutes.

He has been fishing in the lake for over two hours.

My parents have been travelling abroad since April.

Susan has been cleaning the kitchen since 2 o’clock.

My mother has been cooking dinner for hours.

You have been listening to classical music for one hour.

They have been drinking red wine since 8 o’clock.

Your sister has been buying a lot of things lately.

Robert has been writing letters all morning.

Pasado perfecto

Sintaxis: Sustantivo + had + verbo en pasado participio (verbo con terminación “ed”)

I had talked to the doctor.

You had resolved the problem.

She had cooked chicken.

He had studied english.

The cat had died.

We had finished our food.

You had slept all night.

**They had already left - Cuando se usa la palabra already (ya) con este tiempo se pone entre had y el past participle

Mary had helped with money

Josue had raised his kids.

Tania and George had begun the quest.

You had built a house.
