The bridge to Terabethia"

1. Make a list of the difference between the movie and the novel:

* Leslie introduces herself to Jess at the fence between their homes before school starts. In the film, they first meet when she is placed in his class.

* In the film she is a slightly different character and thus handles situations differently. She runs away when Jess confronts her after she tells the class she has no television, while in the film she withdraws it all.

* In the book there are different instances where she raises her voice or pulled stern looks, in the film there is none.

2. After the 1st part, make a chart:

Novel: Movie: Did you like the change?(Yes or No) Answer why.

Leslie introduces herself to Jess at the fence between their homes before school starts. They first meet when she is placed in his class. I like this change becouse they might know each other better...

She runs away when Jess confronts her after she tells the class she has no television. She is a slightly different character and thus handles situations differently. In the film she withdraws it all. I sort of like this change, giving Leslie a double personality ain't that good... Or at least i asume. Either way it could be both good or bad.

There are different instances where she raises her voice or pulled stern looks. There is none. I seriously don't like it that much... It makes her look either rude or serious and also very thinkative.

They did not sing. They singed. In the novel, no, I liked it when they sang.

3. Did you enjoy reading the novel?(Yes or No) Answer why.

Sure becouse I learned new things that were added from the movie... Although it is the same story I would have enjoyed if it would not have deleted the movie scenes.

4. Wich one did you like the most, the novel or the movie? Why?

I liked the movie better becouse I had a bit more details, and becouse I do not like to read that much...
