Home and the world is a history about an Indian woman Bimala who loves their

country and their customs, but she is not comfortable with her husband Nikhil or his

As she is not happy with his way of life she met Sandip Babu who is the leader of

a social movement in India, he convinced she saying that women were going to

be the future of India, and that the only companies that were going to be in India

The history is saying like a journey

The author tries to give clues about how the history will change, when I was

reading the history I thought that Bimala would leave her husband because

she had fallen in love with Sandip Babu, and even that she was going to leave

her customs and would cause a revolution in order to have more rights as a

woman. But actually it happened the opposite, because she started feeling

affection for Sandi Babu but she never leaves her husband, she flounced away but

in fact she never had a romantic relationship whit Sandi

By the end Bimala becomes intimately involved with the Swadeshi movement

because of her desire to work with Sandip, Sandip is obviously interested in

Bimala, and Bimala begins to question her marriage to Nikhil because Sandip

represents everything she wants in a man.
