Introduction:
The Unreal Conditionals are used to describe imaginary things or situations that aren´t real. They are usually used with “if”.
Development:
1. That´s true. If the world´s poorest inhabitants had access to microloans, they could be able to prosper and have a better life than they have now.
2. Yes, I know. If they hadn´t started the website, a lot of people wouldn´t have anyone to help them with a loan.
3. Oh, I see. So, if you had lent somebody some money, he might have an improved home right now.
4. Hmmm… but I think even if her husband wasn´t dead, she would have needed the loan anyways.
5. Yes, if she had some money, she would buy the supplies to start her business.
6. Yes, of course. If you hadn´t had faith in her, you wouldn´t have lent her the money.
7. Uh-huh. You know, if she had gotten too confident, she might fail to pay someday.
8. Do you mean if she hadn´t got the money her children wouldn´t have been to school?
