Colombia, officially Republic of Colombia, is a unitary republic of America located in the northwest region of South America. The surface area of Colombia is 2 129 748 km², of which 1 141 748 km² correspond to its mainland and the remaining 988 000 km² to its marine extension, of which it maintains a boundary dispute with Venezuela and Nicaragua. Bounded on the east by Venezuela and Brazil, to the south with Peru and Ecuador and to the northwest with Panama; as far as maritime boundaries, it is contiguous with Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, Jamaica, Haiti, Dominican Republic and Venezuela in the Caribbean sea, and with Panama, Costa Rica and Ecuador in the Pacific ocean

The Feria de Cali: is an important event, annually attended by 2 200 000 persons, calculating foreign tourists is a figure of 300 000. The fair to arrive mainly by its climate, events, and the rumba; becoming one of the main tourist destinations in Colombia and Latin America between the 25 and December 30 of each year.

Super concert: made in the Olympic Stadium Pascual Guerrero and is usually the most important musical offerings of the year. Artists are recognized and exponents of various musical genres.

My dream is to go to Colombia and visit Cali, go to its fair and enjoy its tropical climate, its museums and landscapes.

Cali, officially Santiago de Cali, is the capital of the department of Valle del Cauca1 and the third most populated city in Colombia. It has an area of 564 km² and a length of 17 km from South to North and 12 km from east to west. The city is part of the Metropolitan Area of Santiago de Cali, together with the surrounding municipalities.

It was founded on July 25 1536 by Sebastian de Belalcazar, making it one of the oldest cities in America.

The salsa dancing is not originating in Colombia or in Cali, but despite this the city has generated a cultural identity around this dance. In the city there is a gastronomy diverse, there are several foods that stand out, such as the Sancocho chicken, rice Atollado.

 The typical drink in Cali is the shampoos and the cholado. There are desserts such as the blancmanges, the jellies of Pata, the pots of the valley and the Aborrajado. In Cali you can find a varied gastronomic offer as in any other city in the world, as there is a wide variety of restaurants specializing in different dining areas.
