Following RFP plan all candidates will have a window of opportunity to explain directly to I.T., Purchasing and Audit Dos Pinos’s personnel details of the presented offer. Also each candidate will have up to May 25th to fully document the following points that came out of the first round of analysis done by our RFP review staff.  The following details can be used to focus at presentation time.

In General:

  1. The Primary and DRS environment should be homogenous, meaning both primary and secondary sites should have the same version (SW and HW) for all components.  Please clarify/confirm.
  2. Please define a clear procedure surrounding Upgrade/Update changes.     Explain the procedure for upgrading systems.    How to handle service outages created by those upgrade requirements?  How to coordinate activities?
  3. Regarding fail-over / fail-back procedures: how do you guarantee one single user located somewhere in the country would be able to get connected to the primary and/or secondary site with no additional configuration on her/his machine?  Explain all “required steps” for moving one service request between the primary and the secondary sites.
  4. In terms of compatibility of components: please confirm all current components (SW and HW) specified in the RFP are supported by your proposal as per data replication and connectivity, OS versions, Database versions and storage.

For specific details surrounding ADN´s answers:

  1. RTO and RPO requirements are not clearly defined in your proposal.    Specific values for RTO/RPO were indicated as part of the RFP document.  Therefore your commitment to fulfill such requirement needs to be provided in order for Dos Pinos to continue with the process.
  2. Please explain how your company would be able to comply with SLAs for all your clients in a single datacenter when more than one is being simultaneously affected by a disaster.
  3. The RFP clearly requested a Tier III certified datacenter is required.  However, your proposed datacenter is not a Tier III, which lacks in compliance.   Is such certification planned to be achieved before go live with Dos Pinos services if ADN is selected?
  4. Please explain how your solution would be enough as a replication strategy for Dos Pinos.   There is not clearly defined as part of your proposal how the synchronization/replication of information would take place.
  5. How would your company guarantee Business Continuity in case of major situations occurring at your facilities?   When the BCP initiatives would be in place?
  6. As part of the RFP response instructions, it was required for the provider to send the standard contract agreement that would be used in case of final selection.    Such contract agreement is not included as part of your proposal.    Please send it before may 25th.

Agenda for ADN to present:
