1- Muhammad Ali and Mohamed Ali, born Cassius Marcellus Clay in January, Jr. (Louisville, Kentucky, January 17, 1942) is an American former boxer. It is considered the best of all time, and one of the highlights. It was a social figure of enormous influence on his generation, in politics and in social or humanitarian in favor of Afro struggles.

In his amateur stage achieved the gold medal in the 1960 Summer Olympics, and as a professional won the title of undisputed champion heavyweight category in 1964 at age twenty-two, which would recover ten years later. In 1978 he won another championship scepter, which made him the first boxer to hold three times a world title in that category.

He was characterized by his boxing style away from the traditional technique, although it was a connoisseur of sport and its contrincantes.2 It was directed most of his career by trainer Angelo Dundee, and held memorable battles against the most famous boxers of his time as Sonny Liston, Joe Frazier, George Foreman and Ken Norton. Six of his fights have been considered the best of the year by The Ring magazine. Poured notorious irreverent views on their opponents, as accurate forecasts of their contentions.

Outside the ring, Muhammad Ali was erected as a figure with social influence since the 1960s when he opposed their recruitment into the armed forces of his country during the Vietnam War. He pleaded conscientious objector, despite the rejection of the defenders of nationalism estadounidense.3 was part of the religious organization of the Nation of Islam and although detractors won their independent behavior stereotypes about African Americans from the years 1970 he won the respect as a world-renowned sports figure, especially after his bout against George Foreman.4 in the twilight of his career, he began to show signs of physical exhaustion; after his retirement he suffered Parkinson's disease.

Among numerous awards he received the Presidential Medal of Freedom; entry into the International Boxing Hall of Fame; the title "King of Boxing" by the World Boxing Council; and "Athlete of the Twentieth Century" by Sports Illustrated and the BBC, among others.
