There is a lot of publicity now a day in which women are being objectified. The most popular advertisement that people see is the models for axe fragrances. Dozens of beautiful women dressed as angels that fall from heaven to earth to the delight of men, is the dream of many come true, heavenly creatures end up renouncing her divine nature which is the heaven , to bring an earthly existence with one lucky man, which of course uses axe.

The model in this ad is modeling for one of the most popular axe fragrances for men all over the world. One characteristic in which heldman explains in her ad is how society especially women are being objectified in what they do. This fallen angel that you see in this ad shows that she had an exotic night. You see in this picture that the angel is wearing provocative clothing showing her petite body and her large perfectly sized breast. The saying in this picture as you can see ‘’even angel will fall’’ shows exactly what the angel did as shown in the picture with the gaping whole on the ceiling. The light from the outside brightens her body and also shows her posing in a sexual way. As you see in this ad, the axe fragrance is on top of the night stand. By seeing this, this shows that the man sprayed the fragrance on him and this is where the saying ‘’even angels will fall’’ explained what it actually means. Many reasons are shown in this picture of what the angel did in this room. As the public can see there feathers from her wings all over the floor. The bed in which she’s in is completely destroyed and the blinds in this room are closed. The only thing you see is the lamp on right above the night stand with the axe fragrance. Apart from the room being dark, this angel shines the area where the bed is located. By these small obvious details this indicates that this angel had a night of sex and pleasure or in other way the woman came down from the sky to have a night of pleasure and satisfy the man that sleeps in that bedroom . Her face expression, the way she holds her hips, and her way of posing is her way of provoking a man in a sexual manner in this case which can lead to seduction. Jean kilbourne says in her essay ‘’the poses and postures of advertising are often borrowed from pornography, as are many of the themes (576). The angel seems to be in an old cabin house by the looks of the wooden walls and the old windows.

Axe the product in the advertisement, is a fragrance that connects to seduction, the youth and young men know that when it’s time to conquer a female its important look and feel good about themselves. That’s why axe has turned into the secret weapon for every male that’s willing to conquer women.
