Adjectives and Adverbs

1. Use the following adjective endings to form adjectives from the following words. With some words you can form more than one adjective.

Use a dictionary, if necessary.

2. In the following sentences underline all the adjectives and draw an arrow to the noun or pronoun they are describing.

Example: The famous singer gave a great concert last night.

1. The bored children wanted to see the funny clown.

2. Yesterday, I saw a terrifying movie.

3. The food we had yesterday at that elegant restaurant was really delicious.

4. You shouln't be afraid of the dog, it is playful but harmless.

5. While I was coming to school, I saw a terrible accident.

6. Our first monthly exam will be next week.

7. It is very hot today, but the weather man says it will rain tomorrow.

8. Our physics teacher gave us many difficult problems that we had to solve for homework

9. My neighbor is very helpful.

10. The attractive girl wants to be a famous model.

3. Adjectives and Adverbs: In the following sentences highlight the adverbs in green and highlight the adjectives in red . Also draw an arrow to the words they are describing (adjective: noun or adverb: verb):
