ACTIVITY 1:

VIDEO 1:

The easterner’s people and westerner’s people see the world different; Easterners people see the material of the objects, for the other side westerner’s people see the form of the objects.

For the other side, eastern see the world in verbs, and westerners in nouns.

For westerners the world is a collection of individual objects, but for easterners think that everything I interconnected.

Westerner’s people only see the centre of a picture and take a photo with small background, only with the face; while easterners spend much time seeing the background of picture and take a photo with background and their body.

VIDEO 2:

Is very important to be aware of culture difference, for avoid misunderstanding between people, I’m absolutely agree with Michael Dick in this case.

In countries like Japan or Korea, they have a high power distance, this means that you can’t criticize the boss and you have to do all that your boss wants. For the other side in countries like Denmark they have low power distance, this means otherwise than high power.

We have 3 kinds of relation with our boss:

US: the boss says the things good and wrong.

Japan: When you talk with the boss I something wrong.

Germany: the boss only says the mistakes that you commit.

ACTIVITY 2:

In my opinion moving experiences is the best form to learn new languages and socialise with people of other countries.
