Nowadays China has 27 sites proclaimed by UNESCO Patrimony of the Humanity, but three are the most visited:

1. The Great Wall of China is one of the greatest wonders of the world that has no comparison. It is made of stone and dirt, built and rebuilt between 4 centuries before Christ and after Christ 16 to protect the northern borders of the Chinese Empire, the nomadic people of the northern steppe. The latest report estimates the length of the Great Wall of the Ming Dynasty in 8852 km.

2. The Imperial Palace of Beijing, is a World Heritage Site since 1987. This secret city was closed to the world for 500 years, but now its 720,000 square meters of courtyards, pavilions, great halls, gardens and nearly 10,000 rooms are open to the public and have become one of the most famous historical sites globally.

3. The Warriors of Terracotta. The Terracotta Warriors. Was discovered in 1974 when a local farmer tried to dig a well, the location of the terracotta army, buried in 210 BC with the first emperor of the Qin dynasty, is a breathtaking place. The thousands of life-size figures have individually modeled faces and different styles of armor according to their rank.

5. Food (3 dishes, ingredients)

Lo Mein is a Chinese dish with wheat flour noodles. It often contains vegetables and some type of meat or seafood, usually beef, chicken, pork, shrimp or wontons.

Traditionally this is a variation of wonton noodle soup. The soup is simply separated from the noodles and other ingredients, and served on the side.

Chop suey is a dish in American Chinese cuisine and other forms of overseas Chinese cuisine, consisting of meat (often chicken, fish, beef, prawns, or pork) and eggs, cooked quickly with vegetables such as bean sprouts, cabbage, and celery and bound in a starch-thickened sauce. It is typically served with rice but can become the Chinese-American form of chow Mein with the addition of stir-fried noodles.

White rice is a Chinese dish it is prepared with rice of long grain, cold water and a pinch of salt.
