Palestine is not a country that gives you a job based on what your ethnic background is, what your religion is, what your sexual orientation is, etc. They don’t believe in this because the citizens are so different, most have the same ethnic background but not everyone believes in the same religion. Also because of the lack of employment bosses or companies just hire anyone because people need the jobs. Of course, most people want a job that there good at so they can enjoy it but they will accept anything. Most workers care about what their companies economic state is at oppose from their economic state because it is so difficult to get a job; they want to know if there company is able to give them money for their daily needs. Palestine is a country that puts itself first than others. We respect everyone’s opinions and at what state there economy is at, because of the lack of money that our country has it has not had a vast change in technology since they are very expensive. This is a danger to industrial companies because by using old worn out machines they have a high risk of endangering a workers and they could easily break causing a delay on work days leading to less money.
53% of Palestine’s population is children under 18. What this means is that half of Palestine’s employment population are indeed children. With restrictions like curfews and control points adults are quite limited to work full time all the time. This has resulted in children being forced to work at a very early age to help keep their family financially stable. These children work 9.45 hours and in other cases 12 hours, but they only earn 20-30 shekels ($5.80- $8.70). The cause of kids working in the streets is because most of their parents can’t get a job because there is not enough for every citizen. 290,000 Palestinians are unemployed and 89% of than population are men. The unemployment rate in Palestine is 35.3% not including stay at home housewives. This is bad because many families are not financially capable of maintaining their families. That is why many people’s alternative is the streets. Another example of forced labor in Palestine is the lack of money the country has. Palestine is not a rich country; this is reflected not just on the country but the people. The lack of food and natural resources also reflects badly on the people. The people of Palestine need food, water, and shelter and the only way to support themselves with these resources are if they get jobs. Men are forced to go and find jobs and put their health issues and personal issues aside to keep their families alive and well cared ford.
Children who are employed in Palestine have many risks to their job. They risk their health to be able to earn money to buy food and water. Many children are overworked and get infections or different illnesses because of their jobs and the environment they are put in for most of the time they spend during the day. This happens because most of this kid’s parents are not financially stable and since they have to pay education expenses they have no choice but to send their children to work. Not having a proper education means they won’t have the knowledge they need to survive all of the world’s difficult challenges.
The delegate of Palestine proposes that we should build public schools. Our country is not financially stable so we would need an IMF (International Monetary Fund) loan from the World Bank so we can build public schools for families that do not have the enough money to pay for their children’s education. This is a great way to get children a better education and education system, they wouldn’t have to work for 9 hours a day and put their lives in jeopardy to help their parents out with money. Parents would be able to send their children to school without having to spend all their money in school finances and this also creates more employment for builders, teachers, etc. The school system
