Palestine vs. Israel

Why are Palestine and Israel fighting for, but first of all, what is the origin of this conflict? We need to return to the early 20th century, when the current political conflict began. This conflict is simply to know who own that land that both of them are fighting for. Also it is important to know that, Israel and Palestine have been fighting for Jerusalem, and both say that it is their capital.

Even though, an early United Nations planned to give each one of them, a part from the wanted land, but the plan failed, Israel and Palestine fought lots of wars to see who will own the territory. Some of the most important, the one from 1948 and the one from 1967.[pic 1]

Israel daily life is far less impacted by this conflict than that of Palestinians. The basic power dynamic is responsible for the vastly different experiences of these two populations. Israel, with the fourth strongest military in the world, and empowered by US support, has occupied the West Bank and Gaza Strip (Palestinian Territories conquered by Israel, another cause of this conflict) since 1967. The Palestinians have no military, few weapons, and no powerful allies.

Finally, how can we end this conflict? Israel and Palestine might get to an agreement such as the “two-state solution”. It consist in Palestine and Israel becoming countries living side by side, with a shared capital and dividing some territories. This solution is supported by lots of international organizations and countries.

Israel and Palestine should live in PEACE!!!
