INICIO
El inicio del Cine Fantástico: Las criaturas de Georges Méliès, el mago del cine. En los casi 126 años del cine, el miedo ha estado presente a lo largo de su historia, desde aquella primera proyección cinematográfica en diciembre de 1895 en París donde se observó el arribo de un tren a la estación de La Ciotat.
Ámbito de las lenguas: Georges Méliès es el padre del cine de ciencia ficción y en sus películas hallamos con frecuencia referencias literarias. Os invitamos a investigar con vuestro alumnado el fenómeno de la literatura fantástica y de ciencia ficción de mediados y finales del siglo xix y principios del xx.
Cuando se habla del nacimiento del cine se toma como referencia la fecha del 28 de diciembre de 1895, en la que se proyectaron al público las primeras películas realizadas por los hermanos Auguste y Louis Lumière, en la memorable sesión realizada en el Salón Indio del Gran Café de París.

The beginning of Fantastic Cinema: The creatures of Georges Méliès, the magician of the cinema. In the almost 126 years of cinema, fear has been present throughout its history, since that first film screening in December 1895 in Paris where the arrival of a train at La Ciotat station was seen.
Field of languages: Georges Méliès is the father of science fiction cinema and in his films we frequently find literary references. We invite you to investigate with your students the phenomenon of fantastic and science fiction literature from the middle and end of the 19th century and beginning of the 20th.
When talking about the birth of cinema, the date of December 28, 1895 is taken as a reference, in which the first films made by the brothers Auguste and Louis Lumière were shown to the public, in the memorable session held at the Salón Indio del Gran Cafe de Paris.
