The Process of Wealth Creation

Since the beginning of humanity, men have created groups where each has a role; these groups are known as societies. Each of these societies has survived because of the different economic systems they handled.

The speaker, Pablo Guido, gave us many examples of economic systems. During the Stone Age, they had a hunting-gathering system; this system depended on the food hunters brought to their community. Hunters obtained most of the food the community consumed, therefore they were the first ones to eat, followed by women who were considered baby makers, then ate children and finally, the elderly people, as they felt that they were no longer useful for their society.

After the Industrial Revolution a major turning point in history was marked. Almost every aspect of daily life was influenced in some way. In particular, average income and population began to exhibit unprecedented sustained growth. Before the Industrial Revolution, the mortality rate was extremely high. One child in five died before their first birthday. After such transcendental event, the rate was a child in twenty-five.

After giving those facts, Guido made a really important question. How to increase wealth? The answer to this question is easier than it seams. The way to increase wealth is increasing the income of people. A way of increasing income is making an investment. Supporting the production of goods and service demands can make an investment. In order to do it, businessman’s must follow certain rules. He should take in consideration factors as taxes,  currency and other regulations.

 In conclusion, Pablo Guido gave us the key to be successful businessman and businesswoman according to rules that will make us have better incomes in the future.
