Reflection paper

There was a time when a woman could not imagine their existence without the presence of children. Woman who didn’t want to procreate, were misunderstood, and people use to thing that they were weird and sometimes the society rejected them just because they didn’t want to be mothers. Now a days this concept has change and more woman started thinking that having children have been overrated , and society is becoming more flexible and open minded about this topic.

Even though society is starting to accept this concept, there still a lot of fight about it because some people says mean thinks and question women who doesn’t want to have children, and they start with comments like "there is a lot of women in the world that wants to become a mothers and they cant, and you that have everything to be one reject that gift ", or "if you never give birth you are never going to be a complete woman" or star talking abut abortion and that’s not the case because the fact that for your own decision you don’t have kids doesn’t mean that if you got pregnant you are going to abort. Along with the birth control came women's liberation and equality in the workforce, which has promoted the concept that women can "have it all": career, children love and a partner. However, in the words of Dr. Catherine Hakim, a sociologist
