I live in Medellin and I want that you know a little bit about this beautiful city

Medellin is the Capital of the Antioquia Department, is located in the northwest of the country, in the Andes Mountains, at a distance of 400 kilometers from Bogota. Medellin is considered as the second most important city in the country after Bogota and is also known as “la ciudad de la eterna primavera”, because the weather is usually warm.

Medellin has variety of museums, typical restaurants, bars and discotecs, and give to the tourist on interesting offer of culture and entertainment. You can visit places like “pueblito paisa”, this is a replica of the Antioquia towns. Another interesting place is the “Parque Explora”, this is an interactive center to promote science and technology in the “Parque Explora you can find the largest freshwater aquarium in South America.

There are a lot of hotels with different categories and budgets. Now you can find hostels too. You can buy all kinds of souvenirs in the San Alejo Market: Necklaces, bracelets, earrings, hats, house plants. Locals and visitors, young and old all enjoy this multicolor and multicultural marketplace.

The people in Medellin are warm and very friendly. The women are very beautiful. People from Medellin are hardworking and helpful.
