1.- Read the following text about a meteorite that fell down on earth.

On Friday a meteor streaked across the sky and exploded over Russia´s Ural Mountains whit the power of an atomic bomb. It´s sonic blasts shattered countless windows an injured about 1,100 people.

The spectacle deeply frightened many Russians, whit some elderly women declaring that the world was coming to an end. Many of the injured were cut by flying glass as they flocked to Windows, curious about what had produced such a blinding flash of light. (…)

2.- Answer the following questions about the previous text.

a) What happened?

On Friday a meteor exploded over Russia´s Ural Mountain whit the power of an atomic bomb.

d) How did it happen?

The meteor entered the Earth´s atmosphere at a hypersonic speed of a least 33,000 mph and shattered into pieces about 18-32 miles above the ground.

e) What were the consequences of the event?

Its Sonic blasts shattered countless Windows and injured about 1,100 people.

The Ministry of Health of the Swiss Confederation confirmed Wednesday that a Cuban doctor working in Sierra Leone in the fight against the epidemic of Ebola and has contracted the virus will be treated at the University Hospital of Geneva.

"The Confederation, the canton of Geneva and the authorities of the University Hospital of Geneva has given the green light for patient transport," a hospital spokesman who preferred anonymity.

The book is due to only canton Geneva doctor, Jacques André Roman, highest health authority in the canton (province), is the only one authorized to give any information about the patient's condition and reception conditions.

Roman has not spoken publicly about it.

The patient in question is Dr. Felix Baez Sarria, internal medicine specialist, a member of the International Brigade Contingent "Henry Reeve" and found in Sierra Leone since early October.

According to the Cuban Ministry of Health, November 16 Baez, who had treated patients with the virus, he started a fever of 38 and 39 degrees
