TITANIC

Titanic is a romantic thriller which was a big hit in 1997. Directed by the cineaste James Cameron, some of the scenes were made in the Atlantic Ocean. The movie is an epic romantic and dramatic story about two people who fell in love but they were of different economic status. The protagonists of the film are Leonardo Dicaprio which character is Jack and Kate Winster which character is Rose.

The Titanic was a boat carrying over 2000 people including immigrants and very rich people. After 4 days sailing the boat crashed with an iceberg and 1,514 people died. Rose was in the boat traveling with her fiancé. He was a powerful and important person. On her way Rose met Jack who had won his ticket on the Titanic playing poker with his friends. They fell in love and started having secret meetings because it was improper for them to go out together. When the boat crashed after 4 days, rich people were put safe first and even when Rose supposed to get in a lifeboat, she prefers to stay at the boat because she can´t go without her love Jack.

The boat sank and Rose and Jack could survive a couple of hours over a door on the water but after a while Jack couldn´t resisted and died. Rose has to let him go and she was rescued by a lifeboat. I really like this movie because it’s a love story and describes the true love can overcome the walls. I really enjoyed it, in fact I recommended it to my family and friends.
