We all know United States is the most important country in the world. Their military, sports, government issues and technology are factors that make them a great country but the United States is something more than all this third world advantages, The United States of America are known mostly for their FREEDOM! A country that was built making liberty and independence the most important factor in their development.

The Declaration of Independence is indeed the most important document in the United States. It was the point where Americans decided they had enough of harsh treatment and being taxed and ruled by another country. This was the point where the next big power country in the world started their principles. “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” (Thomas Jefferson- Declaration Of Independence). This line gives the idea of what the United States have in mind, they are tired of being kept aside of the world just being another part of King George III, they wanted to expand, become known around the world and later on becoming one of the biggest world power country.

This line also represent the basic rights of the Americans which where nearly taken away by Great Britain, which made the United States wake up and start working and fighting for that freedom and peace they wanted. The Declaration of Independence is also important because it send a message to King George III that the United States where demanding their rights, they wanted to be free, to be in peace and if they needed to they were going to fight until they die for that freedom all Americans wanted.

The Declaration of Independence did not only make the United States a independent and stronger country but it also unify the whole society, all of the Americans were kind of patriots, their life’s worked around the principle of liberty and they wanted to take their country to success.

Also helped to set the basic principles the government should work in the future. They were ready to start to maximize the security of the independent state, they wanted the British to know, that if they get independence they were going to stay that way. “But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.” (Tomas Jefferson-Declaration Of Independence). If we analyze to the deepest this part of the declaration Thomas Jefferson was preparing for the future! He was stating that if in the future at one point the freedom and liberty vanish, Americans should fight to get it back. This factor of keeping their freedom shaped the laws and the mentality of the following government’s.

Making this following government strictly protect their country basing their perspective of what America should always be, this point in the future converts in a part of the American Constitution. The declaration of Independence and the effects it had in the country and in the government is a clear example of how words can change history. Since the first civilizations words have been the best weapon and if they failed and is a need to go to war, are the words who encourage men that sacrifice their life for their country.

The Declaration of Independence also made the United States government well known, served as an example of the pursuit of freedom and encourage the French to fight and even right their own version, “Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen”. The first article states “Men are born and remain free and equal in rights. Social distinctions can be founded only on the common good”(French). This clearly is close to be as the American Declaration,
