Education In Mexico, we have preschool (3-6 years old), then we go to elementary school (6 to 12 years old) and the grades are from first grade to sixth grade. Then we study the junior high (12-15 years old).

Preschool, elementary school and junior high are mandatory, all the children must study them. High school es different, we can make it in 2 years or 3, it depends each state.

Then we study university, most of the profesional schools are public.

Preschool is studied from 2-4 years, then comes the elementary school from first grade to sixth grade, then the middle school or junior high (seventh to eight grade) then the highschool is from 9th to 12th.

Education is only mandatory until 16 years.

A big difference between mexican education is that in the US they offer food at schools (not junk food like in Mexico). In each country of the UK there are five stages of education: early years, primary, secondary, Further Education (FE) and Higher Education (HE)

Cuisine Mexican cuisine is a mix of prehispanic food and colonial food.

The actual Mexican food comes from the beginning of XVI century. The Spanish brang beef, cheese ,garlic, citrics, pork, wine, etc. Those ingredients mixed with prehispanic ingredients like chocolate, vanilla, beans, corn, coconut, avocado, etc.

Some of the typical ingredients are beans, corn , avocado, chili, tomatoes, etc. Pre-colonial cuisine.

Seafood was originates by Native Americans. They used to eat all kinds of seafood.

Their modern food is a mix of a lot of cultures, like German, England’s, Africans and Caribbean.

We could say that the typical dishes area hamburguers, hot dog, fried chicken, etc.

It’s a mix of food consisting in English cuisine, Irish, Scottish and Wales.

Their typical dishes are: Sunday roast, Yorkshire pudding, fish and chips, and full English breakfast.

Sports The most played sport in Mexico is football.

There is a typical sport in Mexico, the Lucha Libre, the most known “luchadores” are El Santo and Blue Demon Baseball is the most important sport in US, but they have basketball, ice hockey, American football, Football (their soccer), all these sports have professional leagues.
