Failure is a normal and common feeling in the life of every human being. Failure can be expressed in many life occasions such as: business, family, friendship and even sports. Through out my essay the main topic that I will develop will be my experience on Sport’s Failure.

Two years ago, I was training with the U-16 National Soccer team of Real Esppor. The first couple of training we’re physically challenging for me, resulting for my past bad shape as a soccer player and that my body was not accustomed to similar physical trainings. My Coach, knowing my awkward position, made several critics to my physical condition in front of my teammates and told me, in that post-training reunion, that if I continued with that physical fitness my place in the ‘’First Eleven’’ could be in a serious threat. After that training session I've went in a serious mental/physical reflection state about my corporal and fitness levels. I put all my effort in extra-training hours, balancing meals and mental preparation to conquer the next physical test from the team.

Three weeks later, the day for the weekly physical test finally arrived. I was particularly anxious; nevertheless, I was prepared. Knowing what I was about to challenge, since the beginning I put all my effort to it and the test begun. In the post-training meeting, my coach was felicitous with all my teammates except me, he told me that I didn't put all my effort in the test and sacked me out the team. I prepared for two long months, working on my physical shape, building muscle, running miles. Plus, with the help of a nutritionist, reorganized all my eating habits and developed a strict diet. I particularly believe that the mind is the most elemental piece of an athlete skill, with that statement in mind I worked on my concentration and motivation areas of my brain to gain confidence to approach my next opportunity.

And finally, that opportunity came in. It was my chance to demonstrate what I was capable of doing. The same coach that sacked me was supervising the draft for the new comers of Real Esppor. I’ve went all the training knowing what my goal was, re-enter the team.

All my effort was recompensed, the coach that sacked me apologized to me and gave me a position in the well desired ‘’’First eleven’’. The coach approached to me in a felicitous way, and told me that soccer is something like life, one needs to comprehend that with effort and dedication
