La Libertad Region, is the Marinera (nombre del festival o celebración).

Its name is given by Abelardo Gamarra, in homage to Miguel Grau; hero of the navy, during the War of the Pacific. (origen o breve historia de este festival)

In this festivity, women dance barefoot with their scarves that evoke the Inca nobility and paso horses decorate the streets. (indique todas las actividades que se realizan durante esta celebración).
