Comparison Analysis

It is well-known that parents can form a significant part of our continuing training, both educational and social, and it is for this reason that in the following paragraphs I will do an analysis where I will highlight the influence they exert on their children, both positive and negative. For the realization of this essay, I adventurer in the autobiographical novel by Marjane Satrapi, Persepolis, and the film Stand by me.

        To begin I will talk to you about the novel of Satrapi, who in their bullets into a world that even before reading it considered unknown. It is necessary to emphasize the way in which she tells us about his history and his childhood, which is full of historical information, that today it is not easy to approach, and at the same time in how she lived the processes by which his country, managing to break through the barrier of ignorance and get into your reality. 

        In this novel, the author is responsible for narrating about his years in the hectic of the 20th century in the Middle East. With a distinctly western thought, Satrapi tells us about his experiences of ironically, but at the same time sentimental, with a bit of cruelty, since their stories are impregnated with the Islamist culture that surrounds it, where prevails the most extreme religious fundamentalism. She is faced with the challenges that impose a traditionalist society, which disintegrated with the passing of the years’ product of both political and social changes that are happening in his hometown of anger. 

        Some of the ratings that I can define this novel are interesting, fluid and current, as they no doubt this achieve penetrate with its original form in the minds of all types of readers, even if it is written in a manner that one would think is focused toward children, it also captivates adults, in a manner that both fail to understand the history that he wants to give, so I believe that the extent to which this has been achieved is related with the personality of the main character, Marji, how to tell their parents, this novel, because it is very dynamic, she thinks and moves in a way so innocent between two lands, To think that the world is not as divided as the history of the cultures we wanted to show. 

        Returning to the personality that shows us Marji throughout the novel, is strongly associated with the relationship that their parents have over their education, as we can see in several of the bullets as their parents struggle tirelessly to deliver many more than a good education, but who seek that your daughter will have a good understanding of the world in which she relates, these parents seek to have an answer to all the questions you have your daughter, in addition, to teach him about empathy with others. Marji has the chance to be born into a middle-class family with parents with liberal ideas so that constantly are in the struggle to overthrow the government with the who do not feel represented. So, they go forging his daughter with certain values, in addition, to speak to him without effort to hide things. 

        In addition, we have to understand that our protagonist, during his childhood, passes through a number of important developments, such as the revolutions that were generated, which killed many people just by thinking in a differently, and how the industrialization that takes hold of Iran, which turns out not to be pleased to the great mass Islamic Republic, because they see it as a negative influence on the part of the United States.

        I believe that parents of Marji managed to meet many objectives with his daughter, this because that is shown throughout the novel as all your needs, educational curiosity as a fool are resolved, as shown in one of their bullets were holding a conversation with the children of the friend of his mother, where once more demonstrated its maturity, since she has no toys, but prefers to have books to know what is happening in the world where you live, or also that is capable of generating some analysis within your school, when you don't understand the reason why a few days earlier taught a subject and then The fall of the Sha will teach the opposite. Despite everything that had to go through you can see that their parents are always attentive to the multiple needs that presents his daughter, and above all, these parents never leave without an answer.
