“Corso de la Amistad for the anniversary of Arequipa ”

The most important festival in the city is the anniversary of Arequipa, the 15th August, given that it was founded on that date in 1540, under the name "Villa Hermosa de Nuestra Señora de la Asunta". Includes the "Corso de la amistad", this is a colourful parade that takes place, becoming the main traditional activity for more than 483 years, where various dance delegations make their best presentation.

All the people celebrate it, the most traditional are the loncco poems, parades and dances throughout the city. This day they eat traditional dishes such as rocoto relleno, pastel de papa, cuy chactado, etc.

In this festival “El Corso de la Amistad”, people wear colourful clothes and make up, To celebrate the Spanish foundation of the white city of Arequipa.

B: In my free time I love reading every day, ,I sometimes play computer games, exercise three times a week, I go swimming twice a week with my brother, and every friday watch movies.
