ECUADOR

Ecuador is a country in South America. His limit in the North is Colombia and in the South and East Peru, in the West his limit is the Pacific Ocean. Its capital is Quito that is also in Pichincha. It is smaller than Guayaquil. Its first foundation is unknown, it is considered as one of the most beautiful regions in Latin America. It has a lot of historical places. The president of Ecuador is Rafael Correa Delgado since 15 of January, 2007. The Ecuadorian weather is influence by the sea current and the high of the fields. The vegetation in Ecuador is tropical. It is highly poblated. It has important rest of ancient ort. The products Ecuador produces are: bananas, coffe, and rice. It has a rich culture. The first communities here were El Inga, Chobshi and Las Vegas. The name of the country comes from the equinoctial line that goes through the north of Quito. Ecuador became independent from Spain and after the “La Gran Colombia”

The country has four regions. The Coastal region consists of the provinces to the West of the Andean range It is the country's most fertile and productive land, and is the seat of the large banana. The Sierra consists of the Andean and Interandean highland provinces. This land contains most of Ecuador's volcanoes and all of it’s snow-capped peaks. Agriculture is focused on the traditional crops of potato, maize, and quinoa. The East consists of the Amazon jungle provinces, his region is primarily made up of the huge The Amazon national parks and indigenous intangible zones, which are vast stretches of land, set aside for the Amazon indigenous tribes. The insular region of Ecuador consists only of the Galápagos Islands.
