Have you ever wondered why many countries invest a lot of money on health? Investing on health is to grow economically for several reasons. Health workers have a high level of job performance and are more productive while the country earns more income. In addition, people who do not get sick, spend less money so that the country would get this money as savings and the government would invest this savings to other areas. Furthermore, knowledge is the Wealth of Nations, but one can not learn if you do not have health, because sick people are not capable of learning.

A good health means more than just being free of disease. Being physically healthy is the first step to good health, but mental health and social welfare are also needed.

Indeed, health is defined by the World Health Organization (WHO) as

"A state of complete physical, mental and social wellbeing and not merely the absence of disease.”

This means that to be healthy, we have to take care of our bodies, our minds and emotions, and we pay attention to our lifestyle and the environment around us, but not only depends on us, it also depends on the policies imposed each government for businesses, as defined by the World Health Organization (WHO) "Companies around the world are becoming more aware of the benefits of encouraging employees to adopt healthy lifestyles, incorporating areas of physical activity for their employees, promoting the use of bicycle and recommending a healthy diet. Healthy employees can combine intelligence and strength for better productivity in your work area. A reduction in worker productivity due to chronic diseases affect future investment returns.

Countries that spend less on health have to get a high mortality rate from diseases reducing their productivity and income. Countries with a high mortality rate spend more on trying to save the lives of the people and also when they die. The same study shows that Sweden has exceptional results in terms of general well-being, as evidenced by the fact that it is among the countries with the highest ranking in many of the topics "Index for a Better Life." (Mankin 565).

Countries invest a lot of money on education but do not always get the desired result. "Several countries have done a balance between these two important factors that go together education and health so that investing today in health".
