Página 1 de 2

When the movie started seemed boring and slow, suddenly everything happens so fast, you realize that Adam was used by Evelyn, was part of an experiment in which he was deprived of all their rights, Evelyn played with him no matter what could he feel. From my point of view there is nothing ethical in the movie.

Protection from harm

According with the definition participants must be prevented from physical or psychological harm, but he never was prevented, Evelyn never told him was part of a experiment, there were emotional risks because he fell in love, we can’t get to know which was the magnitude of the damaged because apart from that was ridiculed in front of his acquaintances.

Privacy:

In the film we can see that Evelyn makes minimal effort to cover Adam eyes in the paintings because we can see it's him, until he says at the end of the film it's not like that he can be exposed on the street because people could recognize him. Evelyn invades his private space and there is no anonymity, everyone in the presentation can match the results with the participant, although he is not participating because he never signed or agreed to anything.

Confidentiality

Neither there are confidentiality because everything Evelyn learns about Adam, how he is, how it behaves, he thinks and he does, and so on., finally is exposed to the public, there is no privacy of his stuffs as his jacket or his personal life, everything is exposed in his presentation and after the gallery is open to the public.

Avoid Coercion

Normally coercion is defined as the use of violence to condition the behavior of a person, but in this case the coercion is because he is forced to participate in something that he did not want and did not even know who was involved, because obviously if He had known it was part an experiment would not have accepted, therefore is forced to participate because it has no choice.

Debriefing

In the film there is no conversation with Adam to help him overcome what he lived, only at the end he talks to Evelyn about what happened but this did not helps him to reduce any possibility of psychological damage, there are claims and screams but nothing that helps Adam to overcome the disappointment he just live.

Sharing benefits

Evelyn does not share the benefits, all the credit and good grades she takes it, he gains nothing in return.
