RAP

The word rap is a colloquial term used to designate the kind of music generated by speech sounds and words rather than instrumental melodies. Rap is one of the most popular musical genres, especially from the 1980s onwards in the U.S.. It is considered that its origins are varied as it takes input from various popular rhythms, some Africans, Jamaicans or owned by the Afro-American United States. Most of the idols of rap have been members of this community and that is considered to be the only rap style of music that truly represents them and express their interests, experiences, etc..

A brief history about two important rappers:

Túpac and Notorious BIG have been the two most famous black rappers (the best) and more important in the story. In U.S., rappers and rap fans were divided into two groups, THE EST COAST and THE WEST COAST.

Notorious and Túpac were one coast and the fans were divided between the two. They get along but in the end, Túpac fans kill Notorious and vice versa, that is, they kill Túpac fans Notorious.

Major differences on styles:

Hip hop is the culture

Rap is music, is just the hip hop music

The break is dance

And graffiti is art
