Henry VIII was King of England from 1509 until 1547. His first wife was Catherine of Aragon, daughter of the Catholic Kings; she didn’t give him an heir to the throne and he decided to repudiate her. He felt in love with Ana Boleyn. Catherine's divorce made him be kicked out by the Pope of Rome and from there, the Anglican Church was born and its highest representative is the King of England. Ana Boleyn had a sister, Mary Boleyn.

The Other Boleyn Sister – MARY

Mary Boleyn was beautiful, blond, she had blue eyes and her smile spread happiness. Her healthy body was soft and her white skin glowed. She used to wear a golden dress and a golden mob-cap. She was a good, friendly, happy and dreamy girl.

Firstly, Ana had the objective of seducing the King, but Mary captured his attention first and she was called to take part in Queen Catherine’s court, even if that meant separating her from her new husband. Mary had sexual relationships with the King and she ended up falling in love with him. Very shortly, she was pregnant.

While she was resting in bed to ensure a safe pregnancy, Ana seduced the King so he didn’t recognize Mary’s son as a legitimate one because he was in love with Ana. Mary was then unhappy and wanted nothing from her sister, who has betrayed her for their own benefit.

After that, Mary wasn’t useful to the King anymore, although he trusted her more than anyone. So she left the court and went to live with his son to the country side, as she had always wanted.

Henry VIII broke with the Catholic Church to divorce Catherine and then Ana became the Queen of England. After some time, Ana was condemned to death.

By knowing her sister death penalty, Mary returned to the Royal Castle and begged to the King to have mercy for her sister. But he hadn’t.

After Ana’s death, Maria took Ana’s daughter, Elisabeth I and went living to the country side finally married with William Stafford.

I think Maria is a very respectable, good, faithful and somehow innocent girl. From my point of view, Mary is not treated as she deserves, especially referring to her sister Anna that betrays her no matter what she may feel. Although the King left her aside, he was kind with her (never hurt her) and trust her more than anyone else. Mary was always trying to make the others happy and she gave a second opportunities to people that didn’t deserve it.
