In this activity will recognize and use question words and her dialogue about family members

1. Reed the following dialogue between Karla and Isabel

Karla: Hi, Isa! May ask you some questions?

Isabel: Sure! What about?

Karla: It is for my English class. I have to talk about a friend and her family.

Isabel: OK. Go ahead.

Karla: What is your mother’s name?

Isabel: Her name is Betty.

Karla: Where is she from? Is she Mexican?

Isabel: No she isn´t. She is from Spain, she is Spanish.

Karla: Wow! I see. When is her Birthday?

Isabel: It´s on September 30

Karla: How old is she?

Isabel: She is 45 years old.

Karla: Oh! Who is your Father?

Isabel: My father is Milo.

Karla: What does he do?

Isabel: He is an engineer. Why do you ask so many questions?

Karla: Because it is necessary, but don´t worry. That´s it. Thank you very Much, Isabel.

Isabel: You´re welcome.

Dani: Good and you?

Adan: Excellent, so I was asking me if I can do a little interview with you? It´s because I have to talk in my class of a friend of mine.

Dani: Yes, you can ask me whatever you want

Adan: What is your father´s name?

Dani: His name is Ivan.

Adan: Oh! and Where is he from?

Dani: He is from Mexico but his grandfather is from Germany.

Adan: Oh I see, and from What part of Mexico is he?

Dani: He born in Oxaca but he and his family move to Monterrey when he was a child.

Adan: That is so interesting, how old is he?

Dani: He is 42 years old.

Adan: Ok, and What about your mom? What´s her name?

Dani: Her name is Isabel.

Adan: Ok and Where is she from?

Dani: She is from Mexico too but she move to United States.

Adan: Oh! and Where does she live?

Dani: She actually lives in Houston but she is planning to move to Monterrey with us.
