Como se publicó Harry Potter

Afterwards, I studied at Wyedean SECONDARY School. I was quiet, freckly, shortsighted, and not very GOD AT SPORTS. By far, my favorite subjects were English and Languajes. I entertained my friends at lunchtime witc long serial stories in which my equally quiet and serous friends and l would be heroic and daring. Years later, I attended Exeter.

University in Devon, where I was traveling alone from Manchester to London in a crowded train when the Harry Potter idea popped into my head. During the four-hour trip I did nothing but think. All the details appeared in my mind and, little by little, that skinny boy with black hair and glasses, who didn´t know that hehad special powers, became real. That same night I started to write Harry Potter and the Philosopher´s Stone.

It´s been more than 30 years since I weote my first stories. I always wanted tobe a write. In Harry Potter, I wanted to show that life between the ages of 11 and 17 can be difficult and confusing, even if you happen to have a magic wand.

Joanne Kathleen Rowling tried unsuccessfully to convince several prestigious publishers to publish Harry Potter and the Philosopher´s stone. Finally, in 1997, she found a publisher. Since then, her Harry Potter books have become very popular. In 2007, Roeling finished Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. This seventh and final book in the series was published in the UK. USA, and other English speaking countries. It is the fastest selling book in the UK nad USA, and sales are well over 400 million copies worldwide.
