It was in 1945 when Branch Rickey team owner of the Brooklyn Dodgers had the vision but especially the courage to join our team at a young black man named Jackie Robinson in times when racism talent imposed.

Basically the movie is based on the first two years of Robinson in the majors, a very difficult period when faced racism and discrimination. Initially by their own comrades who refused to play with him until eventually accept it and end up admiring it in every way. The audience that in some cities its presence caused gyrations in games. But he always had the moral support of Rickey and this fact of course that provided the confidence to move forward.

It tells the story of a hero who is able to bring the domination of his character to the end to get live with dignity. It also tells how God has something to say in the lives of people. This film is about mighty and exceedances. The Robinson for not being afraid and fight against their own ghosts. Of Ricke by betting against what the canons and codes dictate. That of teammates who overcome their prejudices because they have seen the heart of a good man, and such contemplation will change your life.

One of the hardest scenes of the movie is when Robinson is humiliated until the end and leaves crying the field. Control your anger.
