English Teacher Questionnaire

1. I have studied English and French and I was really successful at these languages. I think that we want to teach our students the way we learned these languages.

2. In the way that we do what we feel comfortable doing, if we are really serious people we are not going to jump or doing something we don’t like to do.

It depends, students from public school that are not in touch with the language, they think they won’t ever learn or that It is not important, on the other hand students from private schools they feel really motivated about the language, and these situations definitely affect on the way the learn.

4. Because is the universal language and it helps you to find better job opportunities in any country you live in.

5. Not at all, I think English is the easiest language.

6. In my opinion I think that vocabulary is the hardest aspect of the language, because in order to learn all these words you need to apply them and use them and sometimes we don’t have the opportunity to use them.

13. I try to work with all the different learning styles, all of them are good, we only need to know how to work with them.

14. I try to make them feel comfortable in every role, for example as listeners, or when they work in teams, when they expose a theme, I try to encourage them to play all the roles they can.

15. It depends on the activity, some day you can be a facilitator, a monitor, a guide, etc.

16. I try to make them learn by collaborating with each other, all of them answering exercises, sharing ideas are the best way to learn. And also they create social skills.

17. I use every day my lesson plans and I try to give them exercises on worksheets in order for them to practice.

18. When it’s simple, concise, clear and easy to understand. Ando obviously when students understand the lesson.

19. Set the rules from the very beginning of the course, make them clear and keep the rules (Follow them).
