               Simple Past

Use the Simple Past to express the idea that an action started and finished at a specific time in the past. Sometimes, the speaker may not actually mention the specific time, but they do have one specific time in mind.

Afirmative

  • My father bought a new car last year? Yes, he did.
  • I went to Huatulco breach last vacations? Yes, I did.
  • My clases starteo two mounths ago. Yes,they did.

    Negative

  • The students didn’t learn English? No, they didn’t
  • My best friend didn’t come to my party? No, she dudn’t
  • I didn’t went to México city with my mom? No, she didn’t

         Interrogative

  • Where did you go last vacations?
  • What did you father buy last year?
  • When did you clases start?

          Second Conditional

The second conditional is like the first conditional. We are still thinking about the future. We are thinking about a particular condition in the future, and the result of this condition. But there is not a real possibility that this condition will happen.

  • If you went to Canadá, you wouldn't want to come back.
  • If I didn't want to go, I would tell you.
  • If you were not far away, we can be together
  • if I lived in Korea, I violate all Koreans.
  • If I was in Hollywood, I would go to all their concerts.

Second Conditional with    modals

The second conditional can be used used to talk about imaginary situations present where we are imagining something different from what is actually the case. We can also use it to talk about things in the future that is unlikely to happen, since the condition is unlikely to be met. We use the past tense in the state party and would be the result.
Estructure: if + past simple +present would + base verb

                          Could

  • If I learned English, I could speak English with foreign people.
  • If he studied hard, he could finish the high school.
  • If the baby stooped crying, his mom could give him milk.

                            Might

  • If you were honest, I might believe you
  • If you love her, she might get marry with you
  • If you were intelligent, you might be happy.

                                  Unless

Unless means the same as if...not. Like ifunless is followed by a present tense, a past tense, or a past perfect tense (never by a conditional). Unless is used instead of if...not in conditional sentences of all types. The order of the clauses doesn't matter with sentences using unless.

                        Unless

  • Unless I wake up early I won’t came early to class.
  • Unless my mom doesnt prepare breakfast I wen’t have it.
  • Unless you borrow me 20,000 pesos I won’t buy my car.

                           Even If

  • Even if you help me to wash the dishes, I won’t finish to cook.
  • Even if she promise to get 10 in her English exam, she will have to study a lot.
  • Even if they do exercise, they will keep on a diet.

                                                Connectors

Connectors or Conjunctions are words we use to join two or more sentences or two words in the same sentence. Here are the most common connectors grouped into categories.
