INTRODUCCION
El ciberacoso, también denominado acoso virtual, es el uso de medios digitales para molestar o acosar a una persona o grupo de personas mediante ataques personales, divulgación de información personal o falsa entre otros medios. Los actos de ciberagresión poseen unas características concretas que son el anonimato del agresor, su velocidad y su alcance. El término apareció en 1998.
El ciberacoso o ciberbullying puede causar daños psicológicos muy graves y, de igual manera, de esto va a depender la reprensión legal que tendrá el acosador.
Puede constituir un delito penal. El ciberacoso o ciberbullying implica un daño recurrente y repetitivo infligido a través de los medios electrónicos. Según R. B. Standler, el acoso pretende causar angustia emocional, preocupación y no persigue fines lícitos en su elección de comunicaciones.
INTRODUCTION
Cyberbullying, also called virtual bullying, is the use of digital media to annoy or harass a person or group of people through personal attacks, disclosure of personal or false information, among other means. The acts of cyber-aggression have some specific characteristics that are the anonymity of the aggressor, its speed and its scope. The term appeared in 1998.
Cyberbullying or cyberbullying can cause very serious psychological damage and, in the same way, the legal reprimand that the harasser will have will depend on this.
It may constitute a criminal offense. Cyberbullying or cyberbullying involves recurring and repetitive harm inflicted through electronic means. According to R.B. La definición de cyberbullying indica que es el acoso realizado entre usuarios de una edad similar y contexto social equivalente, mediante el uso de medios digitales, desde un teléfono móvil a internet o a través de videojuegos online, por citar algunos ejemplos.

TIPOS Y CARACTERISTICAS DEL ACOSO VIRTUAL
Acoso: denigrar o insultar constantemente a otra persona a través de dispositivos tecnológicos y sistemas de mensajería digital, ya sea directa o indirectamente, creando rumores o exponiendo la vida privada de la víctima.
Harrasment: constantly denigrating or insulting another person through techonological devices and digital messaging systems, bith directly and indirectly, creating rumors or exposing the private life of the victim.
Sexting: envío de material pornográfico propio o ajeno, con el fin de acosar a la víctima o como venganza.
Sexting: sending one's own or another person’s pornographic material, in order to harass the victim or as revenge.
Stalking: permanent monitoring of a person in the digital world, so that they are aware of the existing interest in him or her.
Stalking: seguimiento permanente de una persona en el mundo digital, para que sea consciente del interés que existe por ella.
