Title: Photosynthesis

Procedure:

1. Prepare a data table to record contacts, treatment, initial color, final color for two experimental tubes.
2. Pour 100 ml of BTB into a beaker.
3. Using a straw exhale gently into the solution until it turns yellow / greenish.
4. Fill 2 test tubes of yellow / greenish BTB.
5. Cover one test tube with aluminum foil (Control).
6. Place a leaf in two of the experimental test tubes.

1. Cover it with aluminum foil and place it in the dark.
2. Cover the other test tube with aluminum foil and place it with bright light lamps.
3. Check overnight.

1. Record your observations in your data table.

Analysis:

• The purpose of the tube that is covered is to keep the oxygen from going in the solution.
• Photosynthesis and Cellular respiration work are related because the products of one process are the reactants of the other.

Conclusion:

In conclusion when one test tube was stored in the dark, the color stayed the same, meaning it stayed with Carbon Dioxide inside, unlike the test tube that was placed under LED lights, which its color turned back to its original color, meaning the oxygen inside disappeared.
