HEALTHY FOOD

People have different reasons for choosing foods. You may choose a kind of food because it's good for you. The food pyramid below shows how many servings from each food group you need to stay healthy. People should eat more foods from the groups at the bottom of the pyramid, like fruits and vegetables. They are very good for you because they have a lot of vitamins and minerals. On the other hand, people should eat fewer servings of the foods from the groups at the top of the pyramid because they aren't as good for you.

The uppermost level of the pyramid contains an illustration of foods that are considered unhealthy. These foods include salt, butter, potatoes, sweets, and sugary and they should be consumed in minimal amounts. At the second highest level, you will find foods that you should eat in moderation, such as dairy products, and vitamin D and calcium supplements. It is recommended that you consume one to two servings of dairy products a day.

Foods at the third level consist of fish, poultry, eggs, nuts, beans, seeds, and tofu. These are heart healthy foods, and they should make up a significant part of your diet. The fourth level shows the healthiest foods, which include vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and healthy fats and oils. These are foods that you should eat the most.

In conclusion

I think this is the right way to eat and stay healthy. Everyone should have good eating habits and the pyramid can help you achieve this.
