Ernest Miller Hemingway

(July 21, 1899 Oak Park, Illinois, U.S. – July 2, 1961 Ketchum, Idaho, U.S).

Hemingway's popularity was based on the themes of his books (love, war, wilderness and loss), these are recurring themes of American literature, which are clearly evident in Hemingway's work.

Francis Scott Key Fitzgerald

(September 24, 1896St. Paul, Minnesota, United States – December 21, 1940 Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, United States) American author of novels and short stories, widely regarded as one of the greatest American writers of the 20th century. Also considered a member of “the lost generation”.

Pablo Picasso

(25 October 1881 Spain– 8 April 1973 France) was a Spanish painter sculptor, printmaker, ceramicist, and stage designer. One of the greatest and most influential artists of the 20th century, he is known for co-founding the Cubist movement. Picasso, Henri Matisse and Marcel Duchamp are regarded as the three artists who most defined the revolutionary developments in the plastic arts. But… what’s cubism? it’s a style of painting Picasso developed with Georges Braque using monochrome brownish and neutral colours. Both artists took apart objects and "analyzed" them in terms of their shapes.
