CNC 6 .0 Offset Adjustment Procedure

To access the offset menu User Profiles must first be activated and then log in

with administrative rights.

From the main TeachBox splash screen:

Press F3 I NIT

Arrow down to SETUP press Enter

Arrow down to USER PROFILES press Enter

A message is displayed…

Press F1 for YES.

A text box is displayed. Here you will enter in the default Administrator Name

and Password…

Name: Key in “ADMIN” press Enter

Password: Key in “1 2 3 4” press Enter

Then the screen will show

When the Main Screen reappears, You will be logged out from any functions.

You must now login with the Administrator’s password.

Press F5 to LOGIN.

Again,

Name: Key in “ADMIN” press Enter

Password: Key in “1 2 3 4” press Enter

Now you will be back to the main TeachBox splash screen and will be logged in

as the Administrator.

Once again, from the main TeachBox splash screen:

Press F3 I NIT

Arrow down to SETUP press Enter

Arrow all the way down to OFFSET… press Enter

(This OFFSET choice was not previously available before logging in with Administrator

Rights)

A warning notice will appear:

Press F1 for YES.

You will now see the screen where the offset adjustments will be made:

MINUS RESET PLUS

F3 F4 F5

ACT in the middle column shows the actual current value of the Offset.

MV in the far right hand column is where the number is to be changed. Use the up

or down arrow key to choose which axis is to be adjusted. By pressing the F3

MINUS or F5 PLUS, the MV value will change by 5 MV. At any time, the original

value can be restored by pressing F4 RESET.

Keep in mind that the value can be a negative, positive, or zero value.

** Adjustments to this value must be made in such a way that the target position

is made perfectly**

Observe the effect of the Offset changes by viewing the Axis Positions Screen

while pressing the Reference Button or running an exercise program in Automatic.

To access the Axis Position screen from the main TeachBox splash screen:

Press F4 for I NFO.

Choose AXIS POSITIONS and press Enter.
