Importance of the international trade to Mexico

Mexico is a very rich country speaking of resources, it has human renewable and non renewable, this attracts a lot of countries to do agreements with Mexico, opening the doors to new organizations and bonds between them and bringing new products to both of the countries. Mexico has different agreements and trades with other countries that help on exchange of diverse articles that help the country to grow economically and generate jobs to the people that needs them, and as a developing country many organizations are interested in establish their enterprises here and develop the national industries.

Before 1981 Mexico had difficult times establishing trades, this because the national peso was more expensive that other currencies that the people preferred buy from other countries (ex. United States) because they could get more dollars for the peso, and in 1985,the government gave some manufacturers incentives to increase the economy trough exports, and on the imports they followed the policy of liberalizing trade by removing restrictions, this helped the country to improve it economy and making relations with other nations that wanted to introduce its products to the national market, and making easy for the local manufacturers to get the raw material for the process of the products, and having different options of suppliers, this bought problems to the nation in 1990, because once again, the Mexican peso was too high in comparison to other currencies and ended in 1994 when the government decided to devaluate it, and thanks to this it was possible to made a surplus in the years from 1995 to 1997.Although Mexico has experienced again a trade deficit, the country seeks to make bonds with the countries to help the economy of both of them. 1999 was a great year for Mexico in exporting matter, because reached a 88 percent of Mexico’s total exports and Canada reached the next percentage of Mexico’s exports , this clearly states that United states is the largest and one of the main Mexico’s trading partners (nations encyclopedia 2013).

Mexico has a specialized an international trade practices unit, this the administrative tool of the government and is responsible for investigating unfair international trade and safe harbor practices, it participates internationally in the defense of rulings sued by the Ministry of Economy and provides assistance to Mexican exporters affected by investigations conducted by foreign governments. to process and resolve investigations on unfair international trade practices, and determine the countervailing duties resulting from those investigations; to process and resolve investigations on safe harbor measures; to offer assistance to Mexican exporters in investigations on unfair international trade and safe harbor practices abroad; to participate in the defense of rulings issued by the Ministry of Economy before the
