“1000 lugares que ver antes de morir” es el nombre de un libro que no hace mucha falta explicar de qué puede tratar.

“1000 places to see before you die” es su título en inglés y Patricia Schultz es el nombre de la escritora que durante 7 años recopiló información e imágenes sobre lo que ella considera son los “1000 indispensables” en lo que a destinos del mundo se refiere. Un número para nada menor (100 ya me parece un número considerable).

El libro tiene casi mil páginas (lo cual teniendo en cuenta que es menos de 1 por destino no parece tanto), y se tradujo al español en 2007 con el nombre de “1000 sitios que ver antes de morir“.

El que disfruta de viajar y tiene televisión por cable en su casa (o es asiduo a descargar éstas cosas de internet) debe conocer la serie 12 capítulos que Discovery Travel & Living hizo con una pareja estadounidense a partir del libro.
