CAP 3

CAP 4

1- The smell of his cigars bothered her, so he stopped smoking. However, he slept so badly as a result.

2- Those men were not jugglers. They were Brahmin priests who are here on some kind of mission. They have crossed the sea from India, and disguised themselves as jugglers. They have made a dangerous journey, and there must be a very serious reason for them to do that.

3- He knew that the young man had been sleeping badly because he had stopped smoking, and he offered him a drink of brandy and water. At first, Blake refused, and started to go upstairs to bed, followed by Ablewhite. A few minutes later, Ablewhite came back downstairs, he told Betteredge that Blake had changed his mind and that he would take the brandy to Blake himself.

CAP 5
