Introduction:

THE EBOLA IN AFRICA

More tan 21,689 cases of Ebola are reported by the World Helath Organziation. 8,641 people have been reported dead by Liberia, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, the US and Mali, up to 18 January 2015.

A total of 828 health worker infections have been reported in the 3 intense-transmission countries, there have been 499 reported deaths. The incidence of health worker infections has fallen in Liberia and Sierra Leone, but rose in Guinea through December a study made by doctors of the WHO.

Professional help is required if you get sick by the Ebola. Patients have a better chance of survival if they receive early treatment. 50% and 60% of people infected is being killed by the current outbreak.

Background:

The Ebola virus causes seriuos danger illnes if its not trated. Ebola virus first appeared in 1976 in Congo which is near the Ebola river thats why the name. With many investigations the scientists noticed that the virus was spread by the fruit bats. The bat fruits are hosts of the virus and spread through the fruits and the humans or mammals eat them or also can be introduce into the human population through blood, secretions and organs of animals infected such as monkeys or animals that are find in the rainforest dead. Health workers who had get infected with the virus its beacuse they are in touch with the blood or fluid of the sick people or also can be with material, surfaces, clothes that are infected.

The symptoms are fever, fever, fatigue, muscle pain, headache and sore throat. Following by vomiting and diarrea with blood.

Following:

In March 14 was notified the first cases of Ebola in West africa where is the current outbreak. Is the largest outbreak since the virus was discovered in 1976. It had spread to countries like Guinea, Sierra Leona, Nigeria and Senegal.

World Health Organization officials discover scores of bodies in a remote diamond-mining area of Sierra Leone, raising fears that the scale of the Ebola outbreak may have been underreported. Nigeria and Senegal officially  have declared over the outbreak ,Mali has been declared free of Ebola virus disease  after completing 42 days since the last case tested negative. 50% and 60% of people infected is being killed by the current outbreak said by the World Helath Organization.

The deads keep growing and this is raising the fear of the world because it could spread to other parts from the world. The WHO has confirmed 9,556 deaths up to February 21. The deaths numbers are: 4,032 in Libera, 3,423 in Sierra Leona, 2,086 in Guinea, 8 in Nigeria, 1 in United States and 6 in Mali.

Conclusion:

It is very difficult to stop this epidemic because humans cannot control to the animals that we know are infected and how to know if others are also if they have not killed and also by the fruit it is still not known who were in contact with infected persons or animals.

Associations responsible for the health must first find a way in which the volunteer helpers responsible for cure for people who are infected do not become infected easily and this could reduced cases. Also the government has to help economically, not only of the countries with the epidemic and as well all together help with this epidemic and which is not achieved spread throughout the world and affects all.
